Some weeks ago I embarked on an unforgettable journey with the Emerald Sakara, a luxurious superyacht designed for those seeking a truly intimate cruising experience. With space for just 100 guests, this boutique yacht offers a uniquely personalized voyage, emphasizing relaxation, elegance, and cultural immersion. I was really surprised how small this super yacht is when I saw it for the first time in Rome Italy.
The Emerald Sakara stands out not only for its intimate size but also for its modern, sophisticated design and thoughtful amenities. My first impression was that there is not much outdoor space on this ship, but that was wrong. Each suite, which is very comfortable, offers floor-to-ceiling windows for breathtaking ocean views, while onboard spaces such as the infinity pool and wellness center. It even has a tiny fitness center with an every thing my sporty soul needs. From the expansive open deck areas to world-class dining featuring fresh, locally inspired cuisine, the yacht epitomizes elegance at sea.
One of the Emerald Sakara’s highlights is its carefully curated itineraries, covering exotic and less-visited destinations from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean. We started our journey in Rome Italy until Malta and back. Whether docking at hidden coves or iconic coastal cities, passengers can look forward to immersive shore excursions that highlight the culture, cuisine, and history of each location.
Designed for travelers who appreciate privacy, luxury, and unique destinations, the Emerald Sakara offers a refreshing take on cruising. If you’re looking for a serene escape with just the right blend of adventure and sophistication, this superyacht could be your ideal getaway. The crew is a small group and you get very fast familiar with every one. There is only one restaurant, but to be honest that was not really a problem. Every single day we had different types of food and everything was so good. I even got a dinner from the Philippines after making new friends in the crew from this country. That was delicious! The Emerald Sakara is a 100% recommendation!
Now I can literally say that I became a little luxury cruise expert this year after 5 cruises. The Emerald is surely the smallest ship of all. I had a good time there and it’s really difficult to say what kind of cruise ship is my favorite. All of them offer different options and you have to find the one that suits you best. Now I think it’s enough and I am truly happy to have firm ground under my feet. xoxo Georgia.
