My Peninsula Istanbul experience began the moment I got off the plane, where someone was waiting for me (without my knowledge). I was taken to passport control and then to baggage claim in a buggy and I was really happy that I didn’t have to do it all on foot, then the new Istanbul airport is huge. This was a beautiful surprise!

Guests can easily explore nearby attractions, such as the Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace, immersing themselves in the captivating tapestry of Turkish heritage.
My room with a wonderful view to the Bosporus river was super comfortable and it’s standard was very high… I also could found some similarity to the one in London… which is normal at the Peninsula. They are committed to offer you the same standards no matter where you are worldwide.
One of my personal highlights during my stay was the visit to the spa. Nestled within this opulent establishment, the spa transcends traditional notions of well-being, offering a haven of tranquility amidst the vibrant energy of Istanbul. The spa’s design reflects a harmonious blend of modern elegance and Turkish influences, creating an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and culturally immersive. I tried one of their signature treatments… the hammam. After that I enjoyed a relaxing time at their 25 meter indoor pool which looks absolutely stunning.
As the food standards at every Peninsula Hotel are very high, my expectations were high too and I was not disappointed. It was difficult for me to decide which was my favorite food experience there. Nevertheless I must admit that the dinner at their rooftop restaurant called Gallada wich offers sophisticated Turk-Asian cuisine was a one of a kind experience.
